M3 DEVELOPMENT

Central to the City of Portland’s plans for revitalizing the Hollywood neighborhood in the Northeast side of town was the redevelopment of this 21,000 s.f. warehouse sitting on two acres of asphalt. Accepting this challenge, we broke down concrete walls to build scale, while creating an oasis within the parking lot. With a final tenant mix including Trader Joe’s Northwest flagship store, along with a bakery café and financial center, what was once an urban void became a development that is an anchor for the neighborhood, re-energizing the community.
