IRVINGTON BUNGALOW

We started with a sweet little bungalow that had good bones, but needed light and connection from room to room.  We proposed moving the kitchen to a former bedroom and opened it up to the dining room and the whole house breathed easier.  That opened up the corner for a custom designed and built lounge area that is flooded with light.  Upstairs, a similarly unique move was made- we took the little sun porch and enlarged it to make it the new master bedroom- and the best room in the house was created.  Custom windows, wood paneling and perfectly sized closets helped the transition. Wanting to feel elegant and grounded in the new master bath, a custom built walnut vanity commands the room.
