Exterior Before

PORTER BUILDING

The award winning renovation of a 1920s jewel gives this 20,000 SF building a sense of prominence in a vibrant neighborhood. The complete renovation provides retail space on the street level and office space on the second level. Existing elements of the building were re-used to preserve its character, such as the second-floor landing bench crafted from the old freight elevator pulley and a beam from the original historic building.  The renovated building features new wood storefront windows, ironwood sunscreens and fir decked canopies accented with custom bronze tiles.  The previous exterior wood windows were recycled and placed over the office gallery, giving it a distinctly rich feeling.
